Protea laurifoliaThis is one of the bearded protea with large pale pink or cream flowers. It is also one of the frost hardy and water wise Protea and can tolerate a wider range of soil types compared to most other protea. Forming an upright well branched shrub. The leaves are elliptical with a covering of minute soft hairs when young and hairless when mature but will have a blue green bloom. Often confused with Protea nerifolia but has broader leaves which are thicker
