Napoleon is depicted in his uniform of Circa 1810 with the medal of Legion D'Honneur on his chest. Standing on a white marble plinth. The sculptor Louis Marie Moris was born in Paris in 1818. He was a pupil of Pardier and Lequien. Moris exhibitied at the Salon from 1857 to 1869
