Dichroic on Black Blue Green Swirls Music Note SculptureA mosaic of various dichroic glass are carefully put together on a background of swirls of black, blue and green. The first step was to make the swirling glass by combining various glass and manipulating the molten glass to get the swirls. This created a large glass. I then added dichroic glass on top with another layer of clear glass on top and fired in a dam to retain a thick shape. I then cut the music note shape using a ring saw. After grinding

This was a purchase for my one year-old grandson. He became very engaged once we started using the book. He loves the sounds and looking at the pictures. The pictures are paper, so be careful sometimes they will rip easily if they turn the page . Also, until he gets a little older, I need to press the buttons for him as some of them are a little harder than others to push. Great way to start teaching words and having fun while doing it.
