Lady of the Peaks PinThe Dark Watchers is a name given to a group of entities in California folklore purportedly seen observing travelers along the Santa Lucia Mountains. They take the appearance of humanoid silhouettes with wide brimmed hats. These pins are 2. 2 inches long, with two pin posts with rubber backings. I bought this gold silverware pack for my parents' 50th anniversary party. The gold is a nice, pleasant shade and not too yellow or brassy looking. Nice and shiny. I had originally bought a set of plastic ware from a different retailer and ended up returning them to get these- the other ones were a dull, almost brownish gold and didn't look nearly as nice. I think these ended up being $3-4 cheaper anyway and we got more in the pack. We had a party for abut 60 guests and there were plenty of forks, knives, and spoons for lunch service, coffee stirring, and cake for dessert. I have quite a few left over to use for something else but this pack gave me peace of mind that we wouldn't run out and our tables would look great. See photo for mock-up of our place settings. The silverware goes well with other tableware, most of which is also from Amazon sellers (except the gold charger plates from Dollar Tree and the paper plates/napkins from Costco).
